# JavaScript Promises Explained Through The Karma System

## Introduction

Imagine karo.

Universe ek massive distributed system hai.

Har insaan ka life ek transaction hai. Har action ek console.log entry hai. Har decision ek async event hai.

Aur jab insaan ka session end hota hai… system usko process karta hai.

Koi manual Excel sheet nahi chal rahi waha.

It’s a karma evaluation engine.

Agar ye pura system old-school callbacks mein likha hota?

Toh seedha Nark.

* * *

## Purana Zamana: Callback Hell

Man lo ek soul aayi processing ke liye. System ko yeh steps perform karne hai:

1.  Karma calculate karo

2.  Intention verify karo

3.  Impact audit karo

4.  Final judgement pass karo

Old callback style kuch aisa dikhta:

```javascript
calculateKarma(soul, (karma) => {
  verifyIntention(soul, (intention) => {
    auditImpact(soul, (impact) => {
      finalJudgement(soul, karma, intention, impact, (result) => {
        console.log(result);
      });
    });
  });
});
```

Dekha indentation?

Agar beech mein error aa gaya toh? Har level pe alag error handling likho.

Ye hi hai callback hell.

Structure toot gaya.
Readability khatam.
Flow samajhne mein hi aadmi ka punarjanm ho jaye.

Tab entry hui Promises (Vishnu ka 10 va Avatar - For JS devs) ki.

* * *

## Promise

Promise matlab commitment.

Ya toh Swarg milega.
Ya Nark.
Koi Beech mein latka nahi rahega.

Modern JavaScript mein Promise create karte hai aise:

```javascript
const processSoul = (soul) => {
  return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
    if (soul.karmaScore >= 0) {
      resolve("Swarg");
    } else {
      reject("Nark");
    }
  });
};
```

Yaha do hi possibilities hain:

*   `resolve()` → Soul Swarg jayegi

*   `reject()` → Soul Nark ya Punarjanm

Promise ki life cycle simple hai:

Bas.

Jaise karma ka hisaab kabhi pending forever nahi rehta.

* * *

## then(): Soul Ki Journey

Ek hi decision enough nahi hota.

Pehle karma dekhenge.
Phir intention.
Phir dharma compliance.

Isliye hum chaining karte hai:

```js
processSoul(soul)
  .then(realm => verifyDharma(soul))
  .then(result => finalJudgement(result))
  .then(final => {
    console.log("Final Allocation:", final);
  });
```

Har `.then()` ek naya Promise return karta hai.

Important point:

Ye nesting nahi hai.
Ye sequence hai.

Readable. Linear. In Control.

* * *

## catch(): Jab Karma Ulta Pad Jaye

Life mein sab Swarg nahi jaate.

Chain mein kahin bhi rejection/error aaya, control seedha `catch()` mein aata hai.

```js
processSoul(soul)
  .then(verifyDharma)
  .then(finalJudgement)
  .catch(error => {
    console.log("Punarjanm Initiated:", error);
  });
```

Yaha ek powerful cheez ho rahi hai:

Agar chain ke upar kisi bhi stage ne `reject()` kiya,
Error bounce hoke seedha `.catch()` me aata hai.

Har level pe alag error handling likhne ki zarurat nahi. ye raha full process ka flow

* * *

## finally(): Swarg ho ya Nark, System Close Hoga

Chahe resolve ho.
Chahe reject ho.

Logs toh update honge.

```js
processSoul(soul)
  .then(verifyDharma)
  .catch(handleRebirth)
  .finally(() => {
    console.log("karmo ka hisaab updated.");
  });
```

`finally()`:

*   Result nahi leta

*   Result modify nahi karta

*   Sirf cleanup karta hai

Jaise antim sanskar ke baad rituals toh honge hi.

.then() , .catch() , .finally() ka complete flow

* * *

# Ab Thoda Advanced

Ab maan lo ek soul ka judgement ek hi factor pe nahi depend karta.

Multiple reports aate hai.

* * *

## Promise.all(): Sab Devta Ha Bolenge Tabhi Swarg

Maan lo ek soul ka judgement sirf ek cheez pe depend nahi karta.

Upar cosmic system mein alag-alag vibhaag baithe hue hain:

* **Karma Lekha-Jokha** (pure karmon ka hisaab kitab)

* **Niyat Ki Jaach** (kaam kis intention se kiya gaya)

* **Prabhav Vishleshan** (dusron par kya asar pada)

* **Dharma Palan Report** (jeevan mein dharma follow kiya ya nahi)

Ab rule simple hai:

Sab departments ko green signal dena hoga.

Tabhi Swarg ka gate khulega.

Code dekho:

```js
Promise.all([
  karmaLekhaJokha(soul),
  niyatKiJaach(soul),
  prabhavVishleshan(soul),
  dharmaPalanReport(soul)
])
.then(results => {
  console.log("Swarg Approved:", results);
})
.catch(error => {
  console.log("Koi ek vibhaag fail ho gaya. Nark ya Punarjanm:", error);
});
```

Yaha kya ho raha hai?

`Promise.all()` tabhi resolve hoga jab **sab promises resolve ho**.

Agar ek bhi reject hua…

Seedha catch block.

Iska matlab:

Ek bhi bhaari paap kaafi hai system ko rokne ke liye.

Ye hai strict collective judgement model.

* * *

## Promise.allSettled(): Pura Karmic Hisab-Kitab Dikhao

Kabhi kabhi final decision se zyada important hota hai full report dekhna.

Kaun sa department satisfied tha?
Kaun sa nahi?

Waha use hota hai `Promise.allSettled()`:

```js
Promise.allSettled([
  karmaLekhaJokha(soul),
  niyatKiJaach(soul),
  prabhavVishleshan(soul)
])
.then(results => {
  console.log("Pura Karmic Report:", results);
});
```

Ye kabhi beech mein rukta nahi.

Chahe kuch reject ho jaye.

Sabka status return karega:

*   fulfilled

*   rejected

Yeh system ko transparency deta hai.

Production systems mein bhi yeh pattern powerful hai
jab humein complete visibility chahiye hoti hai, sirf success/failure nahi.

* * *

## Promise.race(): Jo Pehle Aayega, Wahi Antim Sanket

Soul ne life mein kuch aisa kiya hai jiska turant decision lena zaroori hai.

Full committee meeting ka time nahi hai.
Sab reports ka wait karne ka time nahi hai.

Ab multiple divine sensors ek saath scan kar rahe hain:

* **Tez Karma Scanner** – total karmic balance ka instant snapshot

* **Paap Alert Engine** – heavy paap detect karne wala high priority module

* **Punya Flash Detector** – extraordinary punya detect karne wala fast channel

Yeh teeno async kaam kar rahe hain.
Lekin system ka rule simple hai:

Jo sabse pehle clear signal dega, wahi decision trigger karega.
Teeno sensors ki beech me race hoga and jo winner hoga
Wohi hi decide karega - resolve karna he ki reject karna he

Code dekho:

```js
const tezKarmaScanner = (soul) =>
  new Promise((resolve) => {
    setTimeout(() => {
      resolve("Karma balance positive");
    }, 3000);
  });
const paapAlertEngine = (soul) =>
  new Promise((reject) => {
    setTimeout(() => {
      reject("Severe Paap Detected");
    }, 1000);
  });
const punyaFlashDetector = (soul) =>
  new Promise((resolve) => {
    setTimeout(() => {
      resolve("Extraordinary Punya Found");
    }, 2000);
  });
Promise.race([
  tezKarmaScanner(soul),
  paapAlertEngine(soul),
  punyaFlashDetector(soul)
])
  .then(result => {
    console.log("Final Signal:", result);
  })
  .catch(error => {
    console.log("Emergency Decision:", error);
  });
```

Ab yaha kya hoga?

*   Tez Karma Scanner → 3 seconds

*   Punya Flash → 2 seconds

* Paap Alert → 1 second (ye race jeet gaya)

Sabse pehle kaun settle hoga?
Paap Alert Engine.

Aur kyunki woh `reject()` karta hai, poora `race()` reject ho jayega.

Output:

```plaintext
Emergency Decision: Severe Paap Detected
```

Baaki promises background mein chal rahe honge,
lekin system unka result ignore karega.

* * *

## Promise.any(): Ek Sacha Punya Kaafi Hai

**Jo sabse pehle successfully resolve hoti hai, uska result return karta hai**
Rejected promises ko ignore karta hai (jab tak koi ek resolve na ho jaye)

Ab maan lo ek soul ka overall karma average hai.

Na bahut zyada achha.
Na bahut zyada bura.

Lekin system ke paas ek special rule hai:

Agar life mein ek bhi sachcha, nishkaam, pure intention wala karam kiya ho…

Toh usko ignore nahi kiya jaa sakta.

Yeh sabse hopeful API hai.

Cosmic system teen alag-alag scans chalata hai:

* **Daan Check** – bina swarth diya ya nahi

* **Karuna Scan** – kisi ki help bina fayde ke ki ya nahi

* **Balidaan Detector** – kisi aur ke liye sacrifice kiya ya nahi

In teeno ka kaam parallel chal raha hai.

Code dekho:

```js
const daanCheck = (soul) =>
  new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
    setTimeout(() => {
      soul.hasDonated
        ? resolve("Nishkaam Daan Found")
        : reject("No significant daan");
    }, 1500);
  });
const karunaScan = (soul) =>
  new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
    setTimeout(() => {
      soul.showedCompassion
        ? resolve("True Compassion Detected")
        : reject("Compassion not strong enough");
    }, 1000);
  });
const balidaanDetector = (soul) =>
  new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
    setTimeout(() => {
      soul.madeSacrifice
        ? resolve("Selfless Sacrifice Recorded")
        : reject("No major sacrifice");
    }, 2000);
  });
Promise.any([
  daanCheck(soul),
  karunaScan(soul),
  balidaanDetector(soul)
])
  .then(result => {
    console.log("Swarg Granted:", result);
  })
  .catch(error => {
    console.log("Redemption Failed. Nark ya Punarjanm:", error);
  });
```

* * *

### Yaha kya ho raha hai?

`Promise.any()` Array me jitne bhi promise he jab inme se **ek bhi promise resolve ho jaye**.
woh return karta he

Agar daanCheck fail ho gaya, koi tension nahi.
Agar karunaScan reject ho gaya, koi problem nahi.

Bas ek bhi resolve mil gaya…
Decision positive ho jayega.

Lekin agar teeno reject ho gaye?

Tab `any()` reject karega.

Aur interesting baat:

`Promise.any()` reject hone par ek normal error nahi deta.
Woh **AggregateError** deta hai jisme sab rejection reasons included hote hain.

Matlab system bolta hai:

"Har department ne mana kiya hai. Koi redeeming act nahi mila."

* * *

# Final Thought: Promise Kyun Powerful Hai?

Callback hell mein structure nahi tha.

Promises ne diya:

*   Clear state model

*   Chainable flow

*   Centralized error handling

*   Parallel coordination tools

*   Deterministic async behavior

Promise pending reh sakta hai temporarily.

Lekin forever nahi.

Jaise karma ka hisaab kabhi adhura nahi rehta.

End mein settlement hota hi hai.

Resolve.
Ya reject.

Swarg.
Ya Nark.
Ya Punarjanm flow.

Aur yahi hai reason ki Promises ne JavaScript ko chaotic scripting language se ek structured asynchronous powerhouse bana diya.

From Callback Hell…

to Swarg.
